She recently returned from Chicago where she produced and directed Quick + Dirty's production of Tender Napalm. She has directed 2 mini musicals with Live On Stage, Tender Napalm with Dancing Brain Productions (Awards: Production, Director, Movement, Actor, Actress, Fight) and This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing as a member of the faculty at Western Oregon University. She founded The Quick and Dirty Art Project in 2007 with its inaugural production of DasVedanya Mama and continued to produce and direct Waiting, The Jewish Wife, The Informer, Mercury Fur, The Unseen, Unda, Phaedra’s Love, Tender Napalm. She has directed staged readings for new works with Proscenium Live, Third Rail and CoHo Theatre. Jen was selected as a CoHo Lab participant where she directed and docu-devised a one act about the current political crisis around women's health. While working with Portland Playhouse, she directed How We Got On, devised and directed 8 Solo Shows under the comprehensive title Subject To Change and assistant directed The Huntsman, Detroit, and King Hedley II.
