











Jen Rowe is the Founding Artistic Director of The Theatre Company in Portland, Oregon. As a member of SDC, her directorial work has been seen in Chicago, New Jersey, Denver and Portland at theaters like Luna Stage, Denver Center Theater and Portland Center Stage. With The Theatre Company, she commissioned, developed and produced new works, including pieces from DeLanna Studi and Yussef El Guindi, under the series The Playwright Initiative: Solo Works which she created and launched in June of 2020. Other credits include premieres of The Thin Place (Portland), Tender Napalm (Chicago and Portland), How We Got On (Pacific Northwest), California, The Unseen and DasVedanya Mama (West Coast). Jen has directed at Western Oregon University and Portland State University. As a student in 2006, she created a school to professional pipeline through Quick and Dirty Productions, a producing company she founded in college.
